Condom and genital warts

Can a condom prevent transmission of genital warts?

Even though Latex condoms are recommended for safe sex and protection against a number of sexually transmitted disorders, genital warts can still occur. The reason for this is that the HIV virus may be in a location not covered by the condom. The only way to prevent genital warts is not to have any type of skin-to-skin contact- and that means no sex.
