Raynaud syndrome

I am a 28-year-old female and was recently told I had raynaud syndrome. Is this bad?
Raynaud syndrome is a disorder where the blood vessels in your hands and feet become unusually sensitive to cold. Even putting your hands inside a refrigerator can precipitate the symptoms. Your fingers will become pale, bluish and painful. The condition can be treated but it is known to recur. There are some disorders that cause raynaud syndrome- I suggest you read about scleroderma.
If you are a smoker, I suggest you discontinue tobacco. There is no medication for it, except to keep the hands and feet warm all the time.
