diet for bipolar?

Can any type of diet help my bipolar?

Unfortunately, there is no diet that can help bipolar. There are many scammers (that includes healthcare professionals) selling bogus diets –so stop wasting your money. The only time dietary changes are required is if you are on monoamine oxidase inhibitors. One study did show that eating omega 3 fatty acids could help bipolar depression but not bipolar mania.

Rather than buy fish oil pills, I would recommend eating fresh fish- like salmon, more tastier and cheaper than the pills. In addition, you are unlikely to find contaminants in fresh fish. On the other hand, you never know these supplements from the East may contain a lot of crap.
